A stage over the sea.
Built in 1939. 1,500 seats. At the end of a Grade II listed pier over the Irish Sea.
Built for variety. Ready for what's next.
The theatre at the pier head opened in 1939 — weeks before the war. It ran through the golden era of British seaside variety, hosted the big summer seasons, went quiet for a long stretch, and is now being brought back properly. Venue specs and the confirmed programme will go up as they're finalised.
