North Pier was designed by Eugenius Birch and opened the year before the American Civil War ended. The cast-iron structure is still standing in the Irish Sea. Grade II listed. Blackpool's first pier.

Bars & Deck

The Merrie England Bar has been on the pier since 1904. The Carousel Bar, Sun Lounge and open deck are the reasons people stay longer than they planned.
